Serving as a dedicated application, it effortlessly connects to any single GALAXY, Galileo, or Callisto processor, granting access to a range of controls such as Parametric EQ, U-Shaping, TruShaping, Delay, Gain, Mute, and Meters.
Designed to offer a portable control solution, Compass Go lets operators make adjustments swiftly while transitioning through diverse listening areas and seating positions to evaluate the overall performance of the sound system in terms of coverage and quality. While a wired interface is crucial for critical control during a performance, Compass Go significantly expedites workflow during setup and adjustments.
Compass Go streamlines your workflow by allowing instant access to applied adjustments at each control point. This enables easy editing, saving, and recalling of user settings snapshots stored on the local device. The app caters to various sound reinforcement applications including but not limited to Theme Parks, Touring/Live Sound, Planetariums, Cinema, Commercial/Industrial installations, Theatrical Productions, Corporate AV, Houses of Worship, and Location-Based Entertainment.
By simply connecting the app to a Galileo GALAXY, Galileo, or Galileo Callisto processor on the same Wi-Fi network, you can efficiently optimize your sound system. With features like adjusting system delay, gain, and mute; managing Meyer Sound shaping EQ and parametric EQ filter sets; viewing current parameter status; recalling snapshots of prior user settings; creating, editing, and storing new snapshot settings in individual processors; and moving around without being tethered to a laptop as you assess array coverage and quality from different vantage points.
The iPad application Compass Go by Meyer Sound acts as an extension of the Compass Control Software desktop/workstation product enhancing the user experience and workflow efficiency. Users are advised to update their Galileo or Callisto devices to firmware version 3.12.0 or GALAXY firmware version 2.8.1 before utilizing Compass Go.
